361 pet deaths related to chicken jerky treats made in China ( sell in Costco)

Apparently, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) recently reminded pet owners last week of the problem with chicken jerky treats made in China and said that one cat and 360 dogs have died, possibly from eating those imported treats.
The FDA continues to caution pet owners that there have been 2,200 reports of illnesses linked to the treats that veterinarians associate with eating chicken jerky products. They continue to investigate the reports of illnesses and deaths, but nothing definitive has been determined. What’s so shocking is that the product is sitting on store shelves for any pet owner to casually pick up and purchase.
If you find chicken jerky treats “Made in China” in any retail store, ask them to pull them from the shelves. If you have accidentally purchased and fed your pets these jerky treats, watch for the signs of illness: decreased appetite, decreased activity, vomiting, diarrhea, increased water consumption and/or increased urination.
